The Book of Eris is one of the more popular pieces of New Discordian Literature. It was written by the brilliant and irreverent St. Vincent Verthaine of New Orleans.
If you’ve ever wondered where Discordians go when they want to go to church, you might try asking Vincent. As I understand it, he operates a for-real Discordian church, the Non-United Church of Eris of Latterday Gothic Industrial Saints.

If you only read five Discordian books, make this one of the five. This is our group’s second holy book, along with Apocrypha Discordia. It has some great stuff in it. And I’m not just saying that because some of my stuff is in it.
A Discordian church? The closest I knew of that was Discordians for Jesus. What do they use for communion?
