[caption id="" align="alignright" width="263"] Sacred Chao with Jesus Fish (symbol of Discordians for Jesus)[/caption] For quite a while, a known Discordian wiki hasn’t been edited much–until now. Since early January, Miley Spears has made over 800 edits to the Discordian wiki at discordia.wikia.com! Recently, Pope Hilde joined in. There are new articles on Alan Moore, Eristotle, R. Crumb, Order of the Pineapple, Jake Day, Discordian American Princesses, Reverend Loveshade, Rev. DrJon Swabey, Mythics of Harmonia, Discordians for Jesus, and much more including over two dozen holydays such as No Pants Day and Jake Day. You can join in too! Check out the Discordian wiki. In addition, the Seti23 Wiki at s23.org is back up, so check it out and maybe join in there too!
Do you know Reverend Loveshade? Don't fret. You can recover. To help in your recovery (and in our project), we're looking for you to make short or long quotes, or even participate in a short interview where you can talk about your experiences with Reverend Loveshade. While we particularly want people who met the Rev. in person, we're also interested in those who've corresponded only by chat, phone, text messaging, email, etc. Interested? Want to learn more? Either post your name and email address in a comment, or send a message soon to firstname.lastname@example.org
All names in this entry are Discordian names. Once again, it’s a baby! Ms. M.C. gave birth to Wunderkätzchen at 17:38 hours Thursday, 12 June 2014. Wunderkätzchen (Kitty for short) weighed in at 3,858 grams (8.5 lbs) and was 52.2 cm long (20.55 inches). Both Mommy and Baby are doing great. Daddy, who worries too much, is recovering — but quicker than from the birth of their first daughter. Twinkleton is already wanting to help her younger sister. They didn’t think they’d get the same midwife as for their first, but at the last minute Nurse Velvet Hands became available. Untroubled Teen V (remember, all these names are their Discordian names), Ms. MC’s ,15-year-old sister, helped with the birth which was at their commune. Congratulations to the family! [caption id="" align="alignleft" width="183"] The Disorder of the Pineapple[/caption] The envelop for The Order of the Pineapple, please. The pineapples go to: Adam Gorightly and S. John Ross.
S. John Ross (Pope Leo). The mind behind Novus Ordo Discordia, the Gospel of St. Pesher the Gardener, author of Steve Jackson Games' Warehouse 23, creator of Risus and fonts used by Discordians, and "foreplayer" (foreword writer) for Ek-sen-trik-kuh Discordia: The Tales of Shamlicht. Patriarch Wilhelm Leonardo Pesher-Principle was a major contributor to Apocrypha Discordia, likely the first (and often considered one of the best) Discordian work of the 21st century.
Adam Gorightly. Author of The Prankster and the Conspiracy: The Story of Kerry Thornley and How He Met Oswald and Inspired the Counterculture. This is considered the primary work covering Thornley and the early Discordians, and uncovered much that was unknown. The Shadow Over Santa Susana: Black Magic, Mind Control, and “The Manson Family” Mythos is one of the most complete compilations of Charles Manson and the Manson family. He is known as the "Crackpot Historian."
The Order of the Pineapple (aka The DisOrder of the Pineapple) honors those who contribute to discord and ek-sen-trik tendencies above and beyond the call of duty. It was first given in 1982 and is given each year on January 18 which is Pat Pineapple Day. Last year's winners were Doctor Demento and R. Crumb. To see a list of all winners, visit op.loveshade.org.
Congratulations to the new winners! Remember to eat something having to with pineapple on January 18!

[caption id="attachment_1988" align="alignleft" width="300"] From Ek-sen-trik-kuh Discordia: The Tales of Shamlicht.[/caption] Ek-sen-trik-kuh Discordia: The Tales of Shamlicht is now listed in the New York Review of Books! They list it as Philosophy/Humor, which is more-or-less accurate. The book's been listed elsewhere as Educational, New Age, and Personal Development, which are more or less accurate too. Of course it could also be listed as backup toilet paper. What book have Robert Anton Wilson (who saw an early draft), Rev. Ivan Stang, R. Crumb, Alan Moore, Sondra London aka The Erisian Elestria, Reverend Jason "Pee Kitty" Levine, Adam Gorightly, Johnny Shellburn, S. John Ross aka Pope Leo and Malaclypse the Younger aka Greg Hill (who never saw the whole book but read some selections) and others been talking about? Feel free to find out! You can see comments by the above, preview it or buy it at Amazon. Or even better you can buy it at discordia.loveshade.org/store. What's that? You don't believe the New York Review of Books would actually list an independent Discordian tome? Check http://assets.nybooks.com/media/ipl/independents.pdf (Note this pdf may change with time).
Are You a Contributor? You can still get an additional discount on the already discounted $20.00 $15.00 cover price but you'll need to respond by 18 January 2013 date extended to 14 February 2013. Send an email identifying yourself to email@example.com by then and see yourself in print! (Note: we'd give contributors one for free but we can't get the books free either! Something about the book's publisher Anaphora Literary Press wanting to make money or something). One of these World Naked Bike Ride celebrants is an offspring of one of the original Ek-sen-triks.
